Patterns & Styles

Popular Stamped Concrete Designs

Ashlar Slate

Clean rectangular cuts that mimic cut stone. One of the most popular choices for patios and pool decks — sophisticated and timeless.

Running Bond Brick

The classic brick pattern — offset rows that give a traditional, warm feel. Great for driveways, walkways, and front entries.

Random Flagstone

Irregular, natural-looking stone shapes that blend beautifully into gardens and backyard patios. Organic and high-end without the cost of real flagstone.

Herringbone Cobblestone

Interlocking diagonal pattern that mimics traditional European cobblestone. Perfect for driveways and entranceways that need to make a statement.

Wood Plank

All the warmth and texture of wood decking without the rot, warping, or splinters. Ideal for pool surrounds and covered patio areas.

Custom Combo Patterns

Mix patterns and colors to create something completely unique. We work with you on the design so you get exactly the look you envisioned.

Stamped Concrete vs. Pavers

Same Look. Half the Cost.
Twice the Durability.

Pavers look great — until they shift, sink, crack, or grow weeds between the joints. Stamped concrete gives you the same premium aesthetic as a single solid surface that won't move.

50%
Lower Cost Than Pavers
Stamped concrete typically costs 30–50% less than natural stone or paver installation.
No
Weeds or Shifting
No joints for weeds to grow through. No individual pieces to sink or shift over time.
Low
Maintenance
Re-seal every 2–3 years to keep colors vibrant. That's it — no re-leveling, no replacing individual pieces.

Strong ROI on Your Home

How It Works

Our Stamped Concrete Process

1
Design Consultation

We come out, walk the space with you, and help you pick a pattern and color combo that fits your home's style and your budget.

2
Site Prep & Pour

We excavate, compact the base, set forms, lay reinforcement, and pour a quality concrete mix — the foundation everything else depends on.

3
Stamp & Color

While the concrete is still workable, we apply color hardener and press the stamp pattern in. This is where the magic happens.

4
Seal & Protect

After curing, we apply a high-quality sealer that locks in the color, adds sheen, and protects the surface from weather and staining.

FAQ

Common Questions

With proper installation and resealing every 2–3 years, stamped concrete lasts 25 years or more. The longevity comes from the concrete base — the stamping and color are surface treatments that can be refreshed over time.
All concrete fades slightly with UV exposure over time — that's normal. Re-sealing every 2–3 years is the key to keeping colors looking vibrant. We use quality color hardeners and sealers that hold up well in Kentucky sun and weather.
Sealed stamped concrete can be slicker than broom-finished concrete. For pool decks and areas that get wet, we add a non-slip additive to the sealer to improve traction. Ask us about this when getting your quote.
Stamped concrete costs more than plain concrete but significantly less than pavers or natural stone. A typical patio runs $8–$18 per square foot depending on pattern complexity and color. We provide a detailed free quote — no hidden costs.
All concrete can crack — that's why control joints and proper base prep are critical. We cut control joints strategically and use the right concrete mix for Kentucky's freeze-thaw conditions. Hairline cracks in stamped concrete are usually cosmetic and can be filled and sealed.
No — stamping must be done when concrete is freshly poured and still workable. However, if your existing concrete is in good shape, we can apply a decorative overlay with texture and color to give it a similar upgraded look. Ask us about overlay options.
